Such a great vibe, we sat at the bar and soaked in the atmosphere while listening to good music, watching some sports and having a chat with Keith the bartender who was a good laugh. Enjoyed the $4 pints, coke and the famous hot dogs. Will come back when next in NYC. Must visit

I've been to New York twice now and on both occasions I visit Rudys's. Spot on service from the staff and the free hotdogs, seriously the best I've tasted, (grilled not boiled?). The atmosphere is electric and staff are superb, Keith is a legend even though he gave me a bit of stick for supporting Liverpool FC (he supports man utd) Oh and the drinks are rediculously cheep. A visit to Rudy's is a MUST.

This was one of my favorite bars we visited while in NYC! You get free hot dogs with any purchase which is so cool. The hot dogs were hot and fresh and they will add mustard or ketchup if you want. The bartenders were nice and quick, even though it was busy. The prices are really good - especially for NYC. They had a lot of deals - some beers were only $4 and they had a shot of peanut butter banana whiskey for $5 which was actually really good. It is cash only though so that's something to keep in mind. The vibe was fun and lively and had the classic dive bar feel. I'll definitely be back when I come back to NYC

My new favorite dive bar in midtown! I've been trying to check out this bar for a while and boy, it did not disappoint. Some say this is the most affordable bar in midtown NYC, I might have to agree with that statement! I ordered a Rudy's blonde beer and a pickle back shot. You best believe I didn't forget to ask for my hotdog! I'll be coming back here very soon! Don't forget to bring cash! No credit cards are accepted!
If there is a place that stood its time, served everything the city has asked for and maintained its beautiful swine at the front, it's absolutely Rudy's. It's a place where all go: the locals, the tourists, the confused souls who have not figured out where exactly they are that night. The free hot dogs that come with drinks and the cheap beers are only part of the attraction. After all, it's a place where Anthony Bourdain once hung out. But the people here are quintessentially kind, outgoing and create a small space of cozy fun vibes. Thus, Rudy's is an absolute must for an essential New York experience.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Place was recommended by a friend. We love dive bars and this is by far the best one! Drinks are great and you get free hot dogs. Got to meet Rudy's nephew Keith and he was great! Place is on the small side, but honestly it's perfect! They have music, vibe is there, hot dogs are great, service is quick! As far as pricing, I felt that we underpaid. Such a killer deal!!! They also do a Beer, a shot and hit dog for $5.00. You can't get that anywhere else. Can't wait to come back again!!!
